On a warm Autumn day on the 4th of April, which also happened to be Easter Day, Life Anglican Church, Marsden Park celebrated their 4th anniversary!
It was terrific to see more than 100 people gather in the outdoor assembly area of the Richard Johnson Anglican School and celebrate Christ’s resurrection as well as their own significant milestone. The church plant lives in one of Sydney’s fastest growing areas and, like our other churches, weathered the storm of Covid restrictions in 2020. Significantly, their area is booming with children under the age of twelve, with projections of growth being taken seriously by those building schools to cater for future numbers. Mark Collins, who planted the church, has a particular heart to see the church reach out to families. The photos below show the healthy way the church plant is growing, with a diverse range of ages and as well as an array of different backgrounds.
Our prayer and goal is to support the plant in Marsden Park with the facilities it so desperately needs to keep growing. Please pray with us so that more may know the wonderful news that Jesus is Alive!
More to come…
